This tutorial was made to show how to make a "plaid" border as part of a "triple border" webset using complimentary colours from another graphic.
It was designed for "intermediary users" of PSP 6.0, or better, but everyone can "play"....for this is how we learn.....n'est pas?? *smile*
Inspiration for this tutorial is from "Wompuss". Great websets, graphics, and tutorials can be found here! A "visit" is well worth your time. *smile*
This is the "pattern" I chose for the tutorial, but any graphic can be used for the same purpose.
It is from one of the wondeful sets of "wallpaper tubes" by "Jane Braz".
She has provided some terrific graphics for people to make "websets" from.
Please provide a "link" to her, if you use them. Thank you.

(1) Open an image "10" x "100" pixels using your "foreground palette" with colour R=59, G=75, B=72.
(Note:) This will be the main colour for your plaid, so you can use your "colour picker" to choose which one it will be. It is also the "middle main background" for your triple border webset.
|
(2) Add border picking a colour from your "background" set. I chose: R=113, G=128, B=109.
Any colour wil do, just make sure to make it is lighter than your first colour.
The settings for adding this border are "unsymmetrical: Top="0", Bottom="0", Left="0", Right="5".
|
(3) Add another border using a darker, different colour, with the settings: Top="0", Bottom="0", Left="0" and Right="4". I chose colour R=103, G=47, B=58.
